She was the author of a book on the genealogy of the Montgomery, Williams and Menefee families. Survivors include two nephews, Jack W. Butts III of Palm Coast, Fla., and Richard Butts and wife, Sharon, of Sweetwater; one niece, Linda Gayle Anderson of Reno, Nev., and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
